The walk less travelled.

17's Daylight.
18th's Day.

Every morning I take an exciting route to work. Contrary to the popular choice of Raffles Station, i drop at Marina Bay. Of course technically its a shorter route, but the route is full of ups & downs, rubbles , not really very clean air, and tons and tons of construction workers.

Know why I take it everyday despite those flaws?
Because it gets me awake in the morning, crossing crazy traffic lights, ok no, there isnt really traffic lights, but lots of traffics, haha. and at the same time, i always get intrigue by the fact that just 2 minutes apart from my building and this place, theres such a vast difference in terms of the people there, the conditions, its like between the poor & rich. Its painful to watch , and these construction workers, how people shun them and crack racist jokes about them.. have they wonder who on earth construct the very path that they are treading on? Seriously. I no doubt have my opinions and sometimes growing up hearing certain general statements, i tend to react before i know it. But when i think it through, I am very grateful for these people. They who came so far away to a foreign land, they who humble themselves and slog day & night, getting stares and prejudice from people they are work hard for to make it a better place for them, who are so unappreciative. sigh. okay i am rumbling.

So every morning, i take the walk less travelled. I skip a lil, react uncontrollably to some thoughts that comes through my mind, but i breathe deep and i plaster a wide smile on my face.
Just a bit of sunshine goes a long way.

So before you make a stupid comment, remember who build all these safe, wonderful, world renowned architectural buildings that we are so known for. We should take caution but we should never judge.

Good night.
